Engineering and Technologies
Decarbonization (TGS & CMHC)
TGS and CMHC are committed to advancing a low-carbon future. By combining trusted technologies with innovative techniques, we are designing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems that meet—and exceed—current industry standard.
District Energy
With a strong focus on efficiency and decarbonization, district energy stands out as an even more compelling choice. Our experience delivering projects like The Well (with Enwave) and numerous developments in Markham (with Markham District Energy) has positioned us as leaders in implementing this technology.
REVIT/BIM
Our team leverages Autodesk Revit to deliver coordinated, BIM-integrated mechanical and electrical designs across all project phases. From detailed 3D modeling to clash detection and shop drawing production, we ensure accuracy, efficiency, and seamless collaboration with architects and other consultants. Our in-house expertise supports Revit-based workflows for design development, tender documentation, and construction coordination.
Geothermal HVAC Systems
Geothermal systems play a critical role in the decarbonization of buildings by leveraging stable underground temperatures to provide efficient heating and cooling. Unlike fossil fuel-based systems, geothermal heat pumps dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. For condos and large developments, this technology supports long-term sustainability goals, contributing to net-zero carbon strategies while offering reliable comfort and operational cost savings.
AutoCAD MEP
We utilize AutoCAD MEP to produce clear, well-organized mechanical and electrical drawings that exceed industry standards and project-specific requirements. Our workflows prioritize layer management, annotation clarity, and precise system layout to support efficient coordination with architects and engineers. Whether for schematic design or construction documentation, our AutoCAD MEP deliverables ensure easy interpretation, reduced rework, and a smooth approval process.
Electric Vehicle Management Systems
As decarbonization initiatives increasingly shift loads to the electrical grid, effective management of our limited electrical resources becomes paramount. This transition calls for innovative strategies and technologies to ensure the stability and efficiency of the grid while meeting the rising demand for electric power.
